Testosterone Therapy Benefits in Males

The U.S. department of Health & Services, which operates the National Institutes of Health (NIH), has been conducting studies into the benefits of Testosterone therapy in older men.

At least 5 million men in the United States may suffer from a condition known as “Low T”, which speeds up aging and may even increase mortality rates.

The male testes that produce sperm also produce testosterone. But, as men age this production slows down and can contribute to a range of age-related symptoms.

Testosterone is responsible for libido and assists in regulating fat distribution, bone mass, muscle mass & strength, and the production of red blood cells.

The Endocrine Society reports that Low Testosterone levels are linked to the metabolic syndrome—a cluster of metabolic risk factors that increase the chances of developing heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes—and other health problems, including loss of bone and muscle mass, depression, and decreased libido.

Low Testosterone may cause:

  • Decreased ability to walk,

  • Loss of muscle mass and strength

  • Decreased vitality

  • Decreased sexual function

  • Impaired cognition

  • Cardiovascular disease & anemia

There is even research put forward by the NIH that older men with Low T counts could be at higher risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease (AD).

The study suggested that on average, men who were diagnosed with AD, had 50% less Testosterone than those who didn’t develop the disease.

Increasingly, many are referring to the age-associated symptoms related to Low Tas contributing to the male version of Menopause called “Andropause”. Erectile dysfunction, including low libido, may in certain cases be directly related to Low Testosterone.

This has generated an interest in new hormone replacement therapy programs offered by medical clinics, including Regenx Medical Institute.

After undergoing an intensive medical examination, patients may receive Testosterone in the form of the following:

• Gels
• Patches
• Injectables

These are FDA-approved and only administered by an onsite doctor who has verified its benefits for a particular male patient.

Some patients may experience positive benefits within 30 days of treatment including:

• Decrease in heart attacks
• Lower inflammation
• Lowers cholesterol
• Lowers vascular disease and death
• Decrease in premature coronary artery disease
• Increases cardiac output allowing more air and oxygen intake. This means you can breath like a 20 year old and display greater stamina!
• Deters metabolic syndrome
• Decreases obesity and fat cells
• Improve brain function
• Improves memory
• Alleviates depression
• Helps with male erections
• Protects the prostate against cancer
